Carl Bossini

Carl's musical career began in the late 1960's when, while in the seventh grade, he played drums in a Polka band. Alongside his brother Greg, Carl's band played mostly wedding receptions and anniversary parties.

But Carl had ambitions far beyond Lawrence Welk and followed the sounds of his heroes and mentors; Eric Clapton, Jimmi Hendrix and The Beatles, who were at the time redefining popular music.

Into the 70's Carl played in numerous bands until 1979 when he joined up with Robin to form Tucannon and in short time were busy touring throughout the States and Canada, leaving countless awestruck audiences in their wake, opening for the likes of Elvin Bishop, Steppenwolf and George Thorogood, promoting their lone studio offering.

However, a decade of constant touring wore thin with Carl and toward the end of the 80's, Carl left Tucannon and returned to Walla Walla and

the family business...onion farming.

While in Walla Walla, Carl played in a number of local bands, including a two-year stint as drummer and then bass player for Big Kids, whom recorded one CD and was a huge local favorite.

And now, following a one-year hiatus, Carl is rarin' to go with former Tucannon band mates Robin and Mike Cook and longtime friend Mike Hammond in Lucky Dogs.
