Mike Cook

Mike Cook's role in Lucky Dogs is much akin to that of Richards' with the Stones...widely known for incredible lead-play, but it's the from-the-gut rhythms that drives this band.

Playing guitar since he was nine, Mike began playing professionally with Tucannon in 1975. After three LP's and one single, Mike left Tucannon and played with, among others, Keith Wohlford, and now has more than a quarter-century of live performance and studio work under his belt.

As a member of Iguana Hat, Mike increased his following throughout the Idaho, Oregon and Washington blues/rock clubs and festivals and his searing guitar work on the "Hat's" two studio efforts is touted by many as some of his finest work ever.
